Marcus is currently the offensive coordinator with Edmonton Huskies. He also works as a full time personal trainer/co-owner of the sweat box gym here in Edmonton.
Marcus grew up in Oklahoma where he played football, basketball and ran track before earning a full scholarship to the University of Kansas. Based off his success in college, Marcus was invited to the NFL Combine and was drafted by the New York Jets where he played 2 years. After a stint with the Carolina Panthers, Marcus came north to Edmonton to play with the Eskimos. He spent 3 years in Edmonton before going to Ottawa to play for the Redblacks. After 2 years in Ottawa, Marcus' career took him to Montreal to play for the Alouettes. During his time there, Marcus suffered an injury that has currently put his career on pause.
During his time in the NFL and CFL, Marcus discovered a love for fitness and decided he wanted to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Marcus believes anyone can reach their goals with hard work and dedication.
Marcus studied Youth Development and Juvenile Justice at the University of Kansas. He is also a ACSM certified personal trainer.
