Reggie has been working as the DB Coach for the Golden Bear’s football academy, as well as being the DB Coach for the Jason Maas Passing Academy. Another great experience Reggie had was being a video coach with the Edmonton Eskimos, as he filmed, coded and helped break down film. Pineapple doesn’t go on pizza. Reggie has been working alongside Ryan Brower training together and others for over 5 years and is ecstatic about getting on board with The Peak School of Football #FreeReggie.
Reggie Schoeppe currently starts at boundary corner for the University of Alberta Golden Bears. Reggie was a highly recruited quarterback coming out of high school but following a camp with Simon Fraser left with an offer to play Free Safety, before ultimately signing with the UofA. Reggie played quarterback with the Salisbury Sabres, winning a Carr Conference Championship in his junior year and later played quarterback at the Alberta Senior Bowl. While red-shirting in his first year with the Golden Bears Reggie made the move to Defensive Back to fill a team need. His experience playing quarterback has served him well on the opposite side of the ball as his preparation, anticipation and overall football smarts have been a force on the Golden Bears defence. Reggie played in the CFL's East/West Shrine Game in 2019, and had received an invite to the CFL Regional Combine.
Reggie is in the BARST Program at the University of Alberta, with plans to pursue an after Ed degree. Reggie has gained valuable work experience with the Edmonton Eskimos and Peak School of Football in addition to developing/running summer camps at the U of A. Reggie has relentless work ethic and is a great role model for any young student-athletes.
