As a Coach, Ryan has gained experience at multiple levels. In 2015 Ryan coached with the Mount Douglas Rams, who won another Provincial Championship. While working out in Victoria, Ryan had the incredible opportunity to learn from and coach with JC Boice from QB Collective, rebuilding the CJFL's Westshore Rebels program. Ryan has also gained experience coaching at the bantam level (winning a provincial championship with the Sherwood Park Rams in 2017), and working as an Intern Football Analyst with Pro Football Focus, reviewing and collecting data from NCAA games. Currently, Ryan is helping out the Salisbury Sabres.
As a competitor first and foremost, Ryan is always searching for the competitive advantage. We want to do things better than they have ever been done before. Here at the Peak School of Football, the goal is to help you find that competitive advantage in all aspects of life.
As a player Ryan had the opportunity to play with the Salisbury Sabres, winning 2 City Championships in 2009 and 2010.
In 2011 Ryan played for the Mount Douglas Rams in BC and won the AAA BC Provincial Championship.
Ryan was recruited across the country and signed with the University of Alberta in 2012 before moving on to play two years with the Edmonton Huskies in 2013 & 2014 where he ultimately had to retire due to head injuries.
Ryan is currently in his 4th year of Commerce at MacEwan University while also serving as the Program's Coordinator at Turf Training Centre. Ryan oversees all the training based out of the facility and has been implementing the long term athletic development model into all programs.
Ryan spends a lot of extra time reading and researching the mental side of Peak Performance that will help him serve student-athletes better. He has also gained valuable experience working in many different environments, training employees and co-owning a landscaping company before going back to university in 2016.
